Heller’s Latest Launches Elevate Everyday Dining

Heller’s Latest Launches Elevate Everyday Dining

If it’s good enough for the Design Museum Brussels, it’s good enough for us. Reintroducing an archived design by Josh Owen, Heller is making it easy and convenient to sit, hold, and carry objects with a single furnishing – the SOS Stool. The versatile stool is already part of the permanent collections of several prestigious institutions including the Centre National d’Art et de Culture Georges Pompidou in Paris, the Design Museum in Brussels, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Rhode Island School of Design Museum of Art, and the Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal. Blurring the boundaries of traditional furniture performance, the SOS Stool can function as a seat, a cup or wine glass holder, a hook, and a tray. Made from recycled post-consumer plastic, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in the colors Olive, Red, Bone, Black, and Tomato.

Another reintroduced design is the Hellerware Max 1 Dinnerware Set in its original color and material. Designed by Massimo and Lella Vignelli, the Max 1 has garnered multiple awards, including the Compasso d’Oro, Italy’s most prestigious design award, since Heller first launched it in 1971. With its space-saving design and modern lines, it has become an iconic classic, recognized as one of the most innovative and forward-thinking designs of all time. The set includes six dinner plates, six salad plates, eight bowls, two lids, one serving bowl with lid, and a tray, ensuring you’ll never need another dining set.

No meal is complete without a proper espresso, according to most Italians. Complementing the Max 1 set, the Max 2 Espresso Cups & Saucers are also being reintroduced to complete your existing dining wares. The cup’s concave handle connects to its wall forming a semi-circular space that provides a comfortable resting place for your thumb. As part of the Max collection, the set of six cups and saucers are stackable in an effort to save valuable space in your cupboards. Available in White, Yellow, and Red Orange, these must-have designs are a welcome addition to your growing Max collection.
